HKSF LEVEL 4

Advanced skills - By the end of the course, the successful sailor should have a confident, safe,seamanlike approach to sailing and will be capable of handling a high performance sailing dinghy (normally in a dinghy with a spinnaker and trapeze) in strong wind conditions of at least 11 knots (Force 4 on the beaufort scale)

A competant and fluid level of sailing is required to benefit from this course – eg: completion of Level 3 or equivalent experience. In practical terms, this implies a season ( recorded in HKSF logbook – 9 months) of sailing between courses. the duration of this course will be no less than 30 hours.
