Senior Accountant


Job Summary

Assists the Accounting Manager to over view the daily accounting operations and assist in any communication between internal departments in an absence of the Manager.

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager.  Candidate with less experience will also be considered for the position of Accountant.

Area of Responsibility

Responsible to ensure all matter regarding full spectrum of accounting (internally and externally) is keeping proper record and comply with Hong Kong Accounting Standard.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly statements, invoices, handling all enquiries and payment issues related  to club members, school, suppliers and business associates
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc accounting reports for management and directors' review
  • Responsible for managing the cash flow at adequate level e.g. cash receivable and payable, time deposit
  • Handle claims for petty cash, prepare cheques, arrange T/T payments and all accounts payable duties with proper proof and record
  • Payroll administration for part-time and casual staff
  • Maintain and check proper record on Club merchandise and in the Club accounting system
  • Make sure the internal or external audits are conducted smoothly by providing relevant and sufficient information to auditors
  • Assist in setting up of accounting policies and IT system
  • Coordinate with other club administrators for booking keeping issues
  • Responsible to obtain accounting related reports from different sections or departments

 

Temporary Accountant


Job Summary

Assist the Accounting Manager (AM) to over view the daily accounting operations and assist in any communication between internal departments in an absence of AM.

Temporary Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
 


Area of Responsibility

Responsible to ensure all matter regarding full spectrum of accounting (internally and externally) are keeping proper record and comply with Hong Kong Accounting Standard.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly statements to membership
  • Answer all members’ queries regarding billing issues
  • Deal with all outstanding reminder from suppliers
  • Assist to handle all project payments
  • Double check all raw materials given by different departments
  • Chase debtors for outstanding payment
  • Prepare membership suspend account list
  • Prepare reminder to members
  • Prepare debtors report to management review
  • Input receipt vouchers to accounting system and prepare monthly accounting schedule for all balance sheet items
  • Responsible for cash receivable and check bank balance daily
  • Prepare invoice/debit notes to corporate, school or membership when required
  • Responsible for bank reconciliation
  • Assist to perform and prepare reports for Sailability
  • Prepare the audited report for Sailability
  • Deal with auditor on Sailability book keeping issues
  • Deposit cheques and arrange T/T payments
  • Follow up membership the setup of autopay account
  • Assist auditor for providing relevant information for auditing
  • Prepare ad hoc event, financial and project breakdown for management or directors review
  • Assist in set up of accounting policies and IT system
  • Perform book keeping on all invoices
  • Handle petty cash transactions and arrange reimbursement
  • Input payment vouchers to accounting system
  • Prepare cheques and T/T payments
  • Double check all part time payroll and contributions
  • Arrange payroll for part time staff
  • Check and record Club merchandise and consignment records
  • Preparation of posting cheques to suppliers
  • Assist to arrange directors for signatories
  • Assist to prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow forecast
  • Assist to arrange time deposit
  • Assist to monitor the usage of warehouse (M5)
  • To ensure proper filing system to tie with HK law
  • Import monthly fees from membership system to accounting system
  • Manage the fixed deposit list
  • Monitor the update of payment register
  • Assist on the day of Annual General Meeting

 

I.T. Manager

Job Summary

Monitor and maintain the all computer systems and networks of the Club. Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problem.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for maintaining and developing of all types of system within the Club.
  • Supporting events and meetings or needs arising within the Club regarding technology.
  • This would be an independent contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the procurement procedures and prepare payment requisition on IT related purchasing
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining various systems
  • Helpdesk supports like new user setup and End-users supports
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Providing procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications
  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
  • Development and sharing of skills with colleagues with staff training sessions
  • Testing and evaluating new technology
  • Support for the Club Events
  • Setup and technical support on the day of Monthly Committee Meetings, General Meetings or any Ad-Hoc Meetings
  • Responses for the Information Security including anti-virus and firewall
  • Document the findings, software installed for the company and the Host as well the key setting and configurations

Requirements

  • Degree or above in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience of system administration
  • 5+ years’ experience of helpdesk support
  • Proven experience of supporting back-end system including MS Windows Server, Linux (Centos preferable) and Office 365 is a must
  • Proven experience of supporting VMware ESXi and Citrix is a must
  • Proven experience of managing Cisco ASA, Cisco switches and Aruba WiFi network is a must
  • Good knowledge of supporting Office 365, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and other common business applications
  • Good knowledge of supporting Cloud Platform (MS Azure), HP EVA and QNAP NAS
  • Good knowledge on support Audio/Visual, POS, CCTV System and Accounting systems
  • Good vendors managing skills
