Helms List

To hire our J80s for use in Yacht Racing, you need to be able to pass a Helms Check which can be run on demand by booking a time with the Sail Training Office. 

To book a helm check, please make sure you have the following:

1. HK Marine Department PVOL Grade 2 or above

2. Sailing Experience (We recommend a HKSF Level 2 or above, ASA 103 or above or RYA Coastal Skipper)

3. Understanding of the Racing Rules of Sailing (for race charters).
