Join us for the prestigious Charisma Trophy, an exhilarating sailing event hosted annually by the Hebe Haven Yacht Club! This trophy is awarded to the boat that achieves the fastest sailing time around the beautiful Kau Sai Chau islands.

Event Overview

The Charisma Trophy is open to mono-hulled keel boats measuring 35 feet (10.7 meters) and under. Participants can compete by choosing either a clockwise or anticlockwise course, navigating iconic landmarks such as Kau Sai Chau, Tai Tau Chau, and Cham Pai Light.

Important Information

• Race Dates: March 1 to the last day of February the following year.
• Insurance Requirement: Competitors must ensure their insurance policy is valid during the race if extreme weather signals are in effect.
• Validation: Each sailing attempt must be recorded and submitted with an independent observer onboard.

The winner will be celebrated at our annual Sailors’ Awards Night in March.
