Our Vision
Established in 1963, the Hebe Haven Yacht Club has been a bastion of yachting and boating excellence for over five decades, nestled in the idyllic Pak Sha Wan bay of Sai Kung. The enchanting coastline and nearby islands of Port Shelter offer some of the finest sailing waters and beaches in Hong Kong.
From its inception, the Club has aimed to deliver top-notch boating facilities and thrilling yacht racing events for its members, alongside fostering youth sailing. Our members have diligently upheld the friendly spirit of the Club, which serves as a vibrant hub for water sports and boating enthusiasts. The Club’s boatyard buzzes with activity as members engage in annual maintenance on their vessels.
Renowned for its warm and inviting atmosphere, the Club’s Restaurant delights diners with exquisite culinary offerings and a diverse menu to cater to all palates. The bar remains a favoured spot for relaxation and forging new friendships, while The Balcony, with its inviting alfresco vibe, is the perfect location for “Sundowners” before dinner. The Garden Bar is a splendid venue for barbecues, outdoor parties, events, and weddings.
We boast comprehensive marine facilities at competitive prices, including fully serviced alongside berths in the Marina, swing moorings, and hardstanding, complete with slipping and craning services for boat repairs and maintenance in our boatyard.
Yacht racing holds a special place in our members’ hearts, with races occurring nearly every weekend. The Club’s flagship racing event, the Typhoon Series, is Hong Kong’s largest summer regatta, drawing participants from across the region each year. Everyone is encouraged to join in, and there is always a call for extra crew.
Our commitment to nurturing young sailors is evident through the “Development Fund for Youth Sailing” programme at the Sail Training Centre. With a fleet of over 40 dinghies, we offer sailing courses for both adults and children, alongside an extensive school sailing programme. Since 2002, the 24HR Charity Dinghy Race has become a treasured annual event at Hebe Haven, with junior sailors competing to raise funds for various charitable causes in Hong Kong.
